About Us

The Coast Guard Spouses' Association Petaluma (CGSA Petaluma) is a non-profit organization composed of spouses of members who live, work, or train at Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma, Station Point Reyes, Station Bodega Bay, or Coast Guard Cutter SOCKEYE.  Our goal is to actively serve our community of service personnel and their families through charitable and social activities, and to provide educational information in areas of concern to Coast Guard families.
 
​Many of us are far from our families and old friends, so participating in CGSA Petaluma can be a reliable lifeline.  Membership offers a chance to make new friends and participate in fun and meaningful activities.

Monthly Meetings

During our monthly meetings we conduct official business and plan for future events. Monthly meetings are on the last Thursday of every month. This is all member's chance to share their ideas for future events and get involved in the planning! We encourage prospective members to attend to see what we are all about.

Services

Proceeds from fundraising events, TRACEN's Treasures, and membership dues are used to support programs and events conducted by the CGSA Petaluma.  We are proud to offer the following services to our community and local Coast Guard families:​

  • Stockings for Students
  • Special Events for Families and Members
  • Free Pantry located at TRACEN's Treasures

Social Events

The CGSA Petaluma offers members a variety of social events including Wine & Girl Scout Cookie Pairing, paint night and more.  There are also special interest clubs which allow spouses to meet and interact with other members that share the same interests.  Visit the 'Clubs' tab for more information.

Communication​

The Spouses' Association Petaluma uses many channels of communication to ensure families, members, and prospective members receive pertinent information.  All families are welcome to use the information posted on this website or social media pages and may communicate with CGSA Petaluma through these channels.  Members have access to the private Facebook group, email notifications, and CGSA Petaluma directory.
